AGM
At the AGM held on the 4th April at Lincoln Castle all existing committee members were re-elected in their posts.
Mats Nilsson asked to take a year off to pursue his new business, and Ulrica Oscarsson, a new Swedish member has volunteered to join the committee, for which we are very pleased. The club desperately requires new committee members, especially from amongst our younger members. We need new ideas and new blood.

GRUNDSLOVSDAG DINNER
This was a great success, attended by around 20 members. Judy Theobald, the Editor of Lincolnshire Life, proved to be an outstanding speaker, keeping us all amused with tales of life in the media.

MIDSUMMER PARTY
This was a huge success, with a bonfire and witch burning, games, dancing around ‘The Majstang’ (maypole), and of course a great barbecue. Those football fans amongst us also got to see an England world cup match on a giant screen. Thanks go to Niels and Tracey for organising this and for arranging it in the lovely gardens of Lindum House.
The day before several members joined members of the Danish Seamen’s Church in Hull for another lovely Midsummer Barbecue at Goxhill.
